Do It Scared, Do It Anyway
There’s something I want to share with you. Something simple but crucial. Sometimes, you have to be willing to do it scared.
At the end of 2024, I made a decision. If I wanted something different, I had to move differently. I had to learn new things. Develop new skills. I couldn’t just rely on my experience and keep doing what was comfortable.
That realization wasn’t new—I’ve always known it. But when I truly committed to the process, I started looking at my goals in reverse and asking myself:
"Does the JuJuan Buford of today have what it takes to achieve them?"
The answer was clear: No.
I had to evolve. I had to become a different person—one capable of reaching new heights. And that’s why I’m sharing this with you.
There’s No Secret Formula
Look, there are plenty of courses, books, workshops, and seminars out there. And don’t get me wrong, they can be valuable. But at some point, you have to stop consuming and start executing.
Because here’s the truth:
There’s no magic formula. No secret sauce.
Successful people share certain habits, mindsets, and frameworks. But if you’re waiting for a guaranteed blueprint before you take action, it’s not coming.
You have to be willing to do it scared.
Fear Is a Sign You’re Growing
Let me tell you something—being scared doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong. It means you respect the process. It means you’re stepping outside your comfort zone.
I can’t count how many times this year I’ve told myself:
I don’t feel like making that call.
I don’t feel like going to that meeting.
I don’t feel like putting myself in a room where I’m not the smartest person.
And every time, I’ve had to respond with:
"Do it anyway."
That’s fear. That’s discomfort. But it’s also growth.
I’ve had to walk into spaces where I wasn’t #1 in the room—sometimes I wasn’t even #10, #20, or #50. And that’s exactly where I needed to be.
Because growth doesn’t happen in comfort.
Courage Isn’t the Absence of Fear
Some people will tell you that you should never feel fear—that you should be "savage" all the time. That’s not real.
Courage isn’t about never feeling afraid. It’s about feeling the fear and moving forward anyway.
So today, I want to challenge you:
Take the course.
Read the book.
Get around the right people.
Keep pouring into yourself.
But most importantly—draw a line in the sand and do it scared.
Success is waiting. Step into it.
I celebrate your success in advance.

As an aside, part of the reason why we launched on this platform is because we want to promote other entrepreneurs and grow givers. We’d love to hear your story. The world around us wasn’t built by the exceptional. It was built by everyday people who were willing to do exceptional things. Let’s build taller buildings together.
